This picture was taken by my friends in Olot so I would not forget them while I am on tour. Santi is in the middle. This picture is hanging from my office at home in Sant cugat Santi Silvas was born the 5/2/1974 and left us the 16/2/2008 at the age of 34.

Feliciano Lopez and Fernando Verdasco defeated Luis Horna and Ivan Miranda in straight sets to seal a 3-0 triumph for Spain and a place in the World Group quarterfinals. The Spanish pair proved too strong for the Peruvians, coming out on top 64 64 76.

I feel very happy for my game against Peru. Nico and me won the two single matches and we can not do it better today.

The atmosphear in the Spanish team is incredible! We are enjoying the stay in Lima.

Eleventh-seeded Spaniard Tommy Robredo, who turned in a career-best quarterfinal run at the Australian Open last year, escaped a first round scare as he came back to defeat German Mischa Zverev, 4-6, 2-6, 7-6(2), 6-4, 7-5. Robredo hit 88 winners during the four-hour battle, including 59 over the final three sets.

Hello everybody,

After the great week in Metz, and win my first indoor tournament, yesterday Pepo , my coach, and me went to Stockholm to take out of the tournament. These days I was under pressure, because I want to arrive to the final not any aces to quaterfinal, and the truth is that I’m very happy to get my goal. The Metz victory gives me a lot of confidence, and we think that it will be better if we spend all week training and practicing in Barcelona and arrive to the Master of Madrid in form and give the best.

Hello everybody,

After two weeks at home, I can disconnect and training the last week a lot, we are ready to face up for the last five weeks of the year, waiting and trying to qualify for the TMC of Shangahi. It will be an difficult and high goal, but we still having possibilities soo we will trying it till the end!

After the final in Beijing, and been more than one month playing tournaments around the states, last week Tommy takes some days of rest. He was in Olot with his family and his friends, relaxing and disconnected of trips, hotels, tournaments and planes...This week he started to train hard at the CAR, because next saturday will go to the Metz tournament. After that he will go to Stockolm, Madrid, Lyon and at the end to Paris. This are the last tournaments of the season, and is important to get points to qualify for the Shangahi Masters Cup.

Trip to Shanghai

After finish his tour around the States, Tommy fly to Shanghai where during all friday he was making the promotion of the Tennis Master Cup at the incredible Chinese city. The player, who last year qualified for first time for the Masters Cup, attended the press wearing the traditional dress of the Open Ceremony, and stayed in the Hilton with 30 kids who work in the TMC organization.

Excuse me because these days I was a little disconnected and I didn’t wrote anything….The truth is that I’m happy with the victory of Monday against Gicquiel, I feel good on court and we can win the match. Yesterday in New Heaven was raining a lot during all day, and cancelled all the matches and we can’t train too so we have to spend time playing chess with Pepo, watching some movies…

Today Tommy gets his 5th title of his carrier, winning the Argentinean José Acasuso for 7-5 and 6-0 in one hour and twenty minutes, time that we can enjoy his great tennis. The effort, constancy and hard work of these weeks have the reward…And he win the Sopot’s trophy! Tomorrow will leave to Montreal with confidence and energy for the Masters of next weeks

Hello everybody,

Before my mach in Stuttgart, we take the plane and arrived in Barcelona on tuesday morning. During this week all the team were working and practicing hard, to try to get the level, see the problems. Is complicate arrive before the grass, and I wanted to do it very well now, to have one summer more relaxed, and maybe this pressure make me play different as I want.

Before going to Holland, Tommy spent some days in Olot where he escapes whenever he can to recharge batteries and see his family and friends. As he already told in his blog few days ago, he made climbing, and bike excursions....don’t stopped a second.
